



Tzeentch's forces are a myriad of maddening beasts that change appearance and cause loss of sanity, and their prowess in magic will be essential to how the faction might play. The playstyle here is most likely to favor utilizing the Winds of Magic to shift the odds against foes. The final god, The Changer of Ways Tzeentch, is likely to focus heavily on magic. Like Nurgle, Slaanesh will likely be a mix of spreading corruption and bolstering his forces, then launching devastating attacks when the time is right. Slaanesh's primary aspect is pleasure, so his forces will likely attempt to lure enemy forces to join them, bolstering their own armies via dark promises. While Slaanesh's forces are no slouch in battle, featuring such forces as Daemonettes and Fiends, their primary focus is corruption. The god of pleasure, Slaanesh, could be a mix of tactics. The Nurgle faction goal will definitely have to do with the spread of disease and how much of a given area has been corrupted. Where others might charge into battle and duel to the death, Nurgle's forces will probably be content to use hit and run tactics, infecting enemies and slowing their advance, making sure that there isn't much of an army to confront when they do go into battle. Nurgle's forces spread all manner of nasty diseases wherever they go, the worst of which is called Nurgle's Rot, and they tend to have a lot of bloated corpses on their side. On the other end, Father Nurgle, God of Pestilence, might rely less on brute force tactics and more on patience and whittling down foes. This is definitely going to tie in to how the faction will play in-game, and the Blood God's armies will likely be a faction that relies on both a large number of forces and may even add a blood meter to grant special bonuses. In the lore, Khorne's armies have always been the brute force of the bunch, swarming foes to hack away with all manner of blades. The Blood God Khorne's tactics will likely rely mostly on overwhelming foes on the field. Each of these gods has its own goals and tactics, and their armies will be anything but a united front in the game. The trailer itself confirmed that players would have not just Kislev or Cathay, but also factions for the 4 Chaos Gods. Now that Sega and Creative Assembly have formally announced Total War: Warhammer III, the conjecture about the playable races has begun.
